Is it possible, utilizing the Microsoft Visual Basic
Editor in Outlook 2003, to secretly attached an email (BC)and have that email forwarded by the user that you sent it to, to then forward that email to another user and have the secretly attached email remain on that same message? I work in the IT dept for a law firm and there is a concern that the attorney's email could be bugged without there Knowledge. Below is how you navigate to The visual Basic Editor. On the Tools menu, point to Macro, and click Visual Basic Editor. In the Project - Project1 pane, double-click Project1, and double-click Microsoft Outlook Objects. Double-click ThisOutlookSession to open a code window. Looking for an answer as soon as possible. Thank you. |

Paranoid, are we?
Yes, it's possible to attach any kind of file -- including a saved message -- to an Outlook message "secretly," but it's rather difficult (well beyond basic Outlook VBA skills) and the attachment itself, except in the case of a picture, doesn't actually do anything. It certainly can't forward itself somewhere else. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "David Plowden" <Dplowden@hollandhart.com> wrote in message news:42be01c47fde$7ac3b510$a301280a@phx.gbl... > Is it possible, utilizing the Microsoft Visual Basic > Editor in Outlook 2003, to secretly attached an email > (BC)and have that email forwarded by the user that you > sent it to, to then forward that email to another user > and have the secretly attached email remain on that same > message? Thank you for your response. Just to clarify. If some used the VB
edition to secretly attached a message or an email address to a message and sent it to someone. If that person then forwards that message to someone else would the secret message or email stay with that forward message. In additon is there a way the original sender could in fact secretly receive the forwarded message even if they are not in the to, CC or BC fields. *** Sent via Developersdex http://www.developersdex.com *** Don't just participate in USENET...get rewarded for it! |

A forwarded message generally contains all the content of the original. > In additon is there a way the original sender could in fact > secretly receive the forwarded message even if they are not in the to, > CC or BC fields.
