I have the following situation in Outlook 2000
In my public folders, I have two folders (of interest) "Shared Contacts" and "Shared Tasks" When I have a shared contact open, I want to associate a task with that contact. If I use the Drop down to assign a new task to this contact, the task gets created in my personal outlook folder "Tasks". I then have to drag it from that folder to the "Shared Tasks" folder. What I really want is to associate the two "shared" folders so it would be more automatic. I am perfectly willing to use a macro, but I am not sure what would work. (It would be fine if the macro simply dumped all "tasks" into "shared tasks" Ideally such a macro would "Save and Exit" the task window and then do the move. I am comfortable with VBA, but have not used it to drive Outlook. Thanks for any help. John Tripp .. |
