I have to update a Contact list with data coming from our server and
post the pst file to our website to share it with a group of users. I do not have outlook on the server. Any ideas how? |

I'm afraid this project doesn't make any sense, given that Outlook doesn't
allow .pst files to be shared. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "ML" <mlewinr@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:279c734f.0404270624.a11b0d0@posting.google.com... > I have to update a Contact list with data coming from our server and > post the pst file to our website to share it with a group of users. The file needs to be updated with most recent additions or changes for
contacts, and then posted to a location where users will download it to their own outlook accounts. In other words, you're not trying to share the file, but telling people to
copy it to their local machines? Well, that's the answer for your original question, too: Create or update your local copy of the .pst file, close Outlook, copy the file to the web server. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "ML" <mlewinr@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:279c734f.0404280453.25b6c98a@posting.google.com... > The file needs to be updated with most recent additions or changes for > contacts, and then posted to a location where users will download it > to their own outlook accounts. > > > "ML" <mlewinr@yahoo.com> wrote in message > > news:279c734f.0404270624.a11b0d0@posting.google.com... > > > I have to update a Contact list with data coming from our server and > > > post the pst file to our website to share it with a group of users.
