I am having the same problem.
Not sure if this helps your situation, but I have discovered in my search for an answer that in the case of Outlook 2000 and 2002, if the email is set in HTML, rather than Rich or Plain Text Format, the attachment icon won't show up. In my case, I have Outlook 2000, emails are set up in Rich Text Format, and I do not get a line showing the attachment when printing. Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated. I don’t feel so bad anymore after reading your comments.
I am having the same problem with Outlook 2000 and don’t know where to turn for the answer. I need printed proof that the attachment was sent. If anyone has an answer to this dilemma, there are at least several of us that would be forever grateful for the help! I have found that if the message was a Rich Text format,
it has the attachment imbeded in the message so it won't show up a line for the info of the attachment. You should change your default type of e-mail to Html or Plain text. Then it will show the attachment info. I don't think there is a way to print the RTF e-mail info unless you forward the message (don't send it) and change the format to Plain text and then print it out. Cheers!
