Default Outlook should allow adding an email as action item in calendar.

It would be extremely helpful if, upon sending or receiving an email, that
same email could also be directed as an item in Outlook's calendar, either as
an action item, or scheduled as a meeting, etc.

You can - right mouse drag the email to the Calendar and when you release
choose move or copy.
