outlook 2000 calendar

I need to move my calender from being a subfolder which is under my contacts.
To being a stand alone item listed.

Drag it to the Outlook Today folder and release it.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Ed asked:

I'm unable to drag and drop it or delete it from the subfolder!
