Default Entering an Appointment Based in Different Time Zones

I am an admin who got volunteered into being the "Outlook guru" and just got
stumped. We are converting from Notes to Exchange 2003 and I have a large
pool of executives who do a considerable amount of travel in/out/around the
US. The practice is to enter the flights into the calendar so that the
persons are not scheduled for a meeting while in transit. The problem is
with the International Date Line. I have a couple of admin assistants trying
to enter the flights leaving the Western Pacific to the US with departure
time later than their arrival times, according to the times printed on the
airline ticket.

My question is this. Is there a similar function in Outlook that Notes has
to enter the flight as an appointment using the local times printed on the
ticktes. An example would be a person leaving Hong Kong (GMT +8:00) for
Denver (GMT -7:00) and the person entering the appointment is in SF (GMT
-8:00). Is there an automated or non-manual way of entering the appointment
using the raw data off of the ticket? The only answer I can come up with is
showing the two time zones side by side in the calander, and that was not
well accepted with the IDL travelers or their assistants.

Thanks,

Dave Ferrin
