Default outlook 2003 event colors disappear on export

I have a user who colors calendar entries manually, and exports the entries
to a data stick (using File - export/export to a file/"tab separated values
(windows)"

When the file is imported into the secretary's Outlook 2003, the colors are
gone.
Is this information contained in the event, or is it a property of the
viewing calendar? Is the export format wrong? Does it require a special
setting on the importing computer?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Sorry... Couldn't find my original question until after I

They are mapi properties and not included in the export. If the other person
is using outlook he should drag and drop the items to the stick or export to
a pst.
