I have a user who colors calendar entries manually, and exports the entries
to a data stick (using File - export/export to a file/"tab separated values (windows)" When the file is imported into the secretary's Outlook 2003, the colors are gone. Is this information contained in the event, or is it a property of the viewing calendar? Is the export format wrong? Does it require a special setting on the importing computer? Any suggestions would be welcome. |

Sorry... Couldn't find my original question until after I
posted this one. Please excuse. >-----Original Message----- >I have a user who colors calendar entries manually, and exports the entries >to a data stick (using File - export/export to a file/"tab separated values >(windows)" > >When the file is imported into the secretary's Outlook 2003, the colors are >gone. >Is this information contained in the event, or is it a property of the >viewing calendar? Is the export format wrong? They are mapi properties and not included in the export. If the other person
is using outlook he should drag and drop the items to the stick or export to a pst. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Author, Google and Other Search Engines (Visual QuickStart Guide) Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Join OneNote Tips mailing list: http://www.onenote-tips.net/ "Dian De Sha" <Dian De Sha@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:01D7B465-DFAE-49F7-9382-D7BC472A413E@microsoft.com... >I have a user who colors calendar entries manually, and exports the entries > to a data stick (using File - export/export to a file/"tab separated > values > (windows)" > > When the file is imported into the secretary's Outlook 2003, the colors > are > gone. > Is this information contained in the event, or is it a property of the > viewing calendar? Is the export format wrong?
