How to delete calendar entry created by a deleted account?

How can I delete a caldendar entry that was created by a deleted account?

An employee account was deleted after leaving the company. The users
calendar entries are still showing up on other user's calendars. Is there a
way to delete these entries even though the calendar has been deleted?
