Default Fix for getting Reminder windows to become the active window

If you have Outlook 2003 version 11.5608.5606 you may be having the same
issue I had - my reminder windows would not become the active window if I was
working in something other than Outlook (making them pretty useless
"reminders").

We installed Microsoft KB828041 and did a reboot and it appears to have
fixed the issue. I now have version 11.5608.5703.

Hope this works for others out there and isn't just a fluke!

Ok - it has stopped working - it worked for a while and then stopped.

I was so hopeful that this would fix it but doesn't appear to. Outlook
Calendar is useless to me until this is fixed - not very impressed at the
moment!

Ok - it only worked for a short period of time and then started acting the
same way again - I was so hopeful that this would fix the issue - it didn't!

Outlook Calendar is useless to me until this issue is fixed! Not very
impressed at the moment!

I thought the change was by design because the interruption caused by
reminders was annoying... the reminder window on the task bar should be
highlighted to alert you of a reminder.

The problem is that if the icon is not visible in the task bar because you've
got many open apps, that feature is useless. I missed yet another appointment
today because of this problem and it is very aggravating!

When one of the items on the outlook button is highlighted, the outlook
button is highlighted. (mine always is)

You should try one of the reminder utilities from www.slovaktech.com - they
reside in the notification area.
