Default Outlook 2000 and Windows XP

I am running Office 2K Pro on a Windows XP machine. I have
gone through the help menus and Knowledge Base looking for
how to set up Outlook to receive faxes to the Inbox
(sending is not needed). The dead end I have run into is
that the Fax features in XP have replaced using Outlook.
Can anybody confirm or deny this? If it can be done, how?

Thanks

Windows XP Fax no longer routes to the Outlook Inbox. That's all been
documented for quite a while here:
