Default Calendaring use between POP users

I have three users on a network all running Office XP on
Windows XP. Two are on standard, one is on the teacher
and student edition. Anyway, there are six possible ways
between each other to send a calendar item. On two of the
machines, when I invite the other two people, all is well
and the integration is good. However, on one of the
machines, one of the users receives the email correctly
and one receives it as plain text with no options aof
acceptance.

I have seen this beofre but never found the solution. I
made sure all of the updates existed and everything but
have not been able to resolve the issue. Please advise.

Additional info:

All three machines have the (default) icalendar option
checked.

Default Re: Calendaring use between POP users

Best bet:

a) Make sure all machines are up to date on service packs
b) Check the iCalendar box in Tools | Options | Calendar Options
c) Make sure the individual recipients are not set for "plain text only"
