SP3 and custom forms

After SP3 on Office 2002 we can not use the print
fucntion programmed into our custom forms.
Here is our exact problem in this KB, 839410.

We are not willing to make the programming change
mentioned in this article. Does anyone have any other
ideas or have you run into this problem?

Hi.
I'm not very familiar with the form, and I don't know
what they have the print command doing. But the
corporate office is very unwilling to make a change to
the form, because my office is the only one running SP3.
Everyone else is running SP2 so they won't make a change
just to accomodate me.
