New Contact Form

Hi,

Please can anyone out there help me make my newly
designed form in contact as the default form even when
importing data from another program or file. I designed a
standard contact form by adding few feilds in there from
feild chooser in design view and then published it. I
went into the properties of contact folder and selected
to use the new form for contact items. But when i tried
importing data into this folder it automatically uses old
contact form. Can anyone help me with this. Thank you
