Default Copying sent message to public folder

I have created a public folder to hold business related emails that are not
confidential. I have done this so a public contacts folder can see email
history for a particular contact.

Some messages will need to be copied to this folder and some will not. My
idea at present is to run a rule to inspect the category of the message and
if it is set to business then save a copy in the public folder. I have
modified a copy of the message template to include a category combo box with
two values, business or private. We currently do not use the category
function but may need to later - how do I get the full category list to
appear in the combo box?

Another issue that has arisen is that with a custom defined template I am
unable to have the BCC field appear - it is not available on the view menu.

One final query - am I going about this the right way?

thanks

Scott.
