1) Is it possible to programmatically create Outlook View? If not, how do
you deploy Outlook view with custom fields? 2) I created lots of custom fields and the field name is loaded during Item_Open. My question is how do I force the view to use that name? Or, is it possible? Thanks, Alex |

1) Yes views can be created programmatically, but only in Outlook 2002 or later. The other approach is to deploy an entire folder, including the views.
2) I don't understand what you mean by "the field name is loaded." -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Outlook and Exchange solutions at http://www.slipstick.com Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming: Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.slipstick.com/books/jumpstart.htm "Alex" <al@sonic.net> wrote in message news:1057612572.969711@sj-nntpcache-5... > 1) Is it possible to programmatically create Outlook View? 1) Could you tell me more about deploying the entire folder? Were you
referring to all the hidden messages in the folder? How do you do that? 2) The field names are replaced by localized text. My question is how do I show localized text (for the field name) in the view? Is this possible? Thanks, Alex "Sue Mosher [MVP]" <suemvp@slipstick.com> wrote in message news:#c0m6zURDHA.2424@tk2msftngp13.phx.gbl... 1) Yes views can be created programmatically, but only in Outlook 2002 or later.
