I am trying to install and configure the Admpack.exe application to better
manage security alerts. Everything goes well until I try to modify the registry key. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOftware\Policies\Microsoft\Security as per the instructions at slipstick. However there is no \Security item at this level on any of the client machines I have looked at. I have looked at XP Pro and Win98. Am I missing something. Do I need to create the \Security somehow? I don't poke at the registry very often. -reed |

Yes, you need to create that key.
