formatted comments keep defaulting back to format i don't want

Hello,

I have a number of comments in my document that I formatted individually
to show up in Courier 7 pt type. When I opened up the document all the
comments default to Geneva 9 pt type. In my Excel preferences I've set the
"standard font" on the General menu to Courier 7 pt. Is there some other
place in Excel where I can specify the default font?
