When I enter data in a cell and try to change the color or center or
anything, a report comes up and says "Microsoft Excel has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for any inconvenience." What is wrong? |

If this is one file I would suspect your 'Normal' style is corrupt and you will need to quickly copy everything across to a new work book or you may get to a point where you can't open the workbook. If it's all files then try 'Detect and Repair' under the help menu If that doesn't work, come back with Excel version and someone may be more specific -- HTH Nick Hodge Microsoft MVP - Excel Southampton, England nick_hodgeTAKETHISOUT@zen.co.uk.ANDTHIS "Bonnie" <Bonnie@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news E7923BA-F498-4B52-982D-23D629508B1E@microsoft.com...> When I enter data in a cell and try to change the color or center or > anything, a report comes up and says "Microsoft Excel has encountered a > problem and needs to close.
