Default Truncate leading zeros in text field (Excel) is a pain

Excel truncates our report fields that contain numbers; first it converts a
text field containing numbers to exponent, and when we convert it to text it
truncates leading zeros. Trying to find a quick way to change so many
fields.

Where is your data coming from?
You should see if it is possible to format your cells as text before
entering the data (Format / Cells / Number / Text).
