Default Numbered columns rather than Letters.


I was sent an Excel file that I opened wich had numbers rather than letters
for the columns. Now when I open Excel my new sheets are like this also.

Go to the Tools menu, choose Options, then the General tab.
There, uncheck the "R1C1 Reference Style" setting.
