Excel Loop bombs machine

I am running an Excel macro that loops continuously until the macro is
stopped. However, after some time (an hour or two) my machine experiences a
"Services and Controller App" error having something to do with the esent.dll
file. It reboots my machine. Machine is Toshiba laptop running XP
professional and Excel 2003. Don't have this problem on other setups. Can
anybody help?
