hpoing Frank Stone or someother bright person could help me! This is driving me nuts! Thanks _____________________________________________________________ I have a vlookup formula looking up a value in another file. When I Open the file with the vlookup formula, it asks me if I want to update, yes or no, when I say yes it will give me the message and it tries to update the values it gives me the message: "excel cannot complete this task with available resources. Choose less data or close other applications." I am using XP 2nd release Excel 2002 System has 992MB of ram and AMD Athalon 3000 Thanks for you reply! The 2 spreadsheets have a combined size of probably only 30-40MB, and if it
is quite smaller, it still gives me the same error. My pc has 992 meg of ram, I don't what that equates to in how large of a file(s) I can have opened up or link to. Any other suggestions?? Thanks "rossel1106" wrote: > > > "croozer" wrote: > > > I Originally posted this question (read from bottom up) on 10/22/04. and was > > hpoing Frank Stone or someother bright person could help me!
