Imported files don't open correctly

I have recently had a problem on my desktop PC with excel 2000. Imported
files have not opened correctly, although they do with the copy of excel 2000
on my laptop. For example, I only see one of 3 sheets, and cannot see or
access the scroll bars. Saving in Lotus 1-2-3 gives me access, but this is a
real pain.
