Saving Excel 97 - Office XP Excel

When I save on the server my Excel 97 files, nobody else can see them who are
operating on Office XP. I have Windows 98 and Excel 97, they have Windows XP
and Office XP. Any reason why this is happening? I can see them on my
computer when I go into the shared drive...but they cannot see them on their
computers.
