Default Trouble opening "Help" topics

When using the Help topics in any of the Office 2000 Professional
applications (Excel, Word, Access, etc.) I get the following errors 1) the
"Additional Resources" at the bottom of the page is missing, and 2) when
clicking on any thumbnail graphic to display "this topic" always results in a
script error. I have tried reinstalling (I have the CD's and product key)
but this hasn't corrected the problem. I would appreciate any help since
this is becoming really frustrating.

hi,
not sure but sometimes the install wizard doesn't install
everything. I had to manually install the backup utitlity
in xp because the wizard didn't install it.
so i would snoop around on the install cd to see if
something go left off.
