We are using Windows 2000 and Excel 2002. A user was
working in an Excel file. She is not sure what she clicked on, but the file disappeared. When she tries to open it, it opens the Excel program, but does not open any workbook or file. It just stays at the application window with the gray screen. I have run an office repair but that didn't seem to help any. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thank you for your time. |

Hi Kelly, It's possible that she hid the workbook and saved it that way by accident. After you open the file, choose Window/Unhide from the Excel menu and see if that workbook shows up on the list of hidden workbooks. If so, you can unhide it from there. -- Rob Bovey, MCSE, MCSD, Excel MVP Application Professionals http://www.appspro.com/ * Please post all replies to this newsgroup * * I delete all unsolicited e-mail responses * |
