Memory Error

I have a Pivot table with an external SQL data source.
The machine I'm running the application on has 1 gig of
ram and a p4 3.2 ghz processor. When it tries to update
the query it displays an out of memory error. Any ideas
on how to correct this. It there where alot of columns
I'd understand but there are only 10 colomuns short in
length.
