Error in Excel

I have a Windows 2000 Server With Office 2000 installed on
it, when i start Excel I get an error

"cannot use object linking and embedding".

But when i restart the server, i don't get this error for
some time and starts after c=some days.

What could be the problem and what is the solution for
this.
