Do you mean that any time you try to open Excel a large number of files
begin to open automatically? It sounds like you've specified a directory in
the Alternate Startup File Location textbox under the Tools/Options/General
menu. If this is the case, what version of Excel are you using? The solution
is diffferent for different versions of Excel.
