Default Unable to open Workbooks Directly

Opening an Excel file directly results in the following
error message;
"Cannot find the file 'C\...' (or one of it's components).
Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all
required libraries are available."

I CAN open an Excel file through Excel with no problems.
This is a nuisance issue.

Thanks.

Probably a simple solution - Open Excel, then Tools, Options, General
tab, then de-select the option "Ignore other applications."

Let me know if that is what it was.
