All of a sudden my excel does not open; it begins to open
and freezes. All other office 2000 programs work fine. I tried to reinstall office and got an error message :internal error 2349" Can anyone help? Thanks, Kirk |

Also experiencing same problem. Looking here for help.
Have run PC Doctor [diagnostic program] which indicates all is well with processor, etc. System Information monitor indicates 100% kernal usage when Excel tries to open, then freezes, stuck at 100%. I have Windows ME. Started happening when I downloaded a very large .dif file from EIA website (a govmt website). Worked for a while once I did the following 1) Ran Thorough ScanDisk 2) Ran VirusScan 3) Ran Disk Defragmenter Now is happening again. [Only happens with Excel, an not Word or PowerPoint.] >-----Original Message----- >All of a sudden my excel does not open; it begins to open >and freezes. All other office 2000 programs work fine.
