Opening 97 files - Lost VB error

Hi all,

Using Excel 2002, when I open an Excel 97 file containing
VB code I get the following error:

"Errors were detected in file 'filename' The following is
a list of repairs:
Lost visual basic project
Lost activex controls"

Excel closes, repairs the file and eventually the file is
opened but the VBA is lost. I've read the MS knowledge
base article 287105 and reinstalled MS Office with VBA
from scratch. No good.

Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem at the moment. Just wondering if you had any luck in solving it? I have been unable to find any resolution so far.
