Hi Stefko,
Have you tried adjusting the plotarea? To select the plotarea either use the chart toolbar and select it from the chart items droplist or select the chart and use the up/down cursor keys to cycle thru the chart elements. The problem might be that Excel keeps the size of the between-tick
spacing the same on the X and Y axes. If you have 5 X categories and 2 Y categories, your chart will be much longer in the X direction than in the Y. I have not found a good way to get around this, but if the data is reasonably smooth, I might insert a range in the shorter dimension and enter interpolated values, to stretch out the axis. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Peltier Technical Services Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com/ _______ Andy Pope wrote: > Hi Stefko, > > Have you tried adjusting the plotarea? > > To select the plotarea either use the chart toolbar and select it from > the chart items droplist or select the chart and use the up/down cursor > keys to cycle thru the chart elements. > > Cheers > Andy > > Stefko wrote: > >> Does anybody know how to resize a surface chart in Excel v.X? >> >> thanks > > |
