Hi, I need to make a variable width 100% stacked column chart (similar t the Column chart with varying width bars from andypope.info but 100 stacked) The x-axis would contain various market segments and the width would b proportional to their size, the y-axis divides each segment up by a attribute. Any ideas? Thank ----------------------------------------------- ~~ Message posted from http://www.ExcelTip.com ~~View and post usenet messages directly from http://www.ExcelForum.com |

Earl -
Stephen Bullen has a Variable Width Column Chart example on his web site (http://bmsltd.co.uk), look for FunChrt5.xls on his Excel - Charts section. Add more nonzero series to stack together. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP http://www.geocities.com/jonpeltier/Excel/index.html _______ Earl wrote: > Hi, > > I need to make a variable width 100% stacked column chart (similar to > the Column chart with varying width bars from andypope.info but 100% > stacked) > > The x-axis would contain various market segments and the width would be > proportional to their size, the y-axis divides each segment up by an > attribute. > > Any ideas? > > Thanks > |

Hi Earl,
I have added another technique for creating variable width column charts. This will also allow for stacked and 100% stacked styles. Using a time scale is a neat idea! Slick way to create vertical edges
in an area chart. -- Regards, Tushar Mehta, MS MVP -- Excel www.tushar-mehta.com Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA add-ins, tutorials Custom MS Office productivity solutions In article <uG8fs0QsDHA.560@TK2MSFTNGP11.phx.gbl>, andy@andypope.info says... > Hi Earl, > > I have added another technique for creating variable width column > charts.
