A rookie at this. I have a simple database of about 100
rows and 20 columns; I need to build a pivot chart so that things like "actual cost per item" can be compared to a "target" and to a "stretch target"...at the same time. When I try and build the chart, and pull info into my data area, it sums the number. I want to sho the actula number in the cell, not a sum. For the life of me I can't figure it out - but I know it's got to be a simple thing. |

If you want to show the actual numbers maybe you don't need a pivot
table. Perhaps you can build a normal chart from your data. If not, can you type a small sample of the data into another posting, and explain what your chart should look like? dmcg wrote: > A rookie at this.
