[This followup was posted to microsoft.public.excel.charting with an
email copy to MichE. Please use the newsgroup for further discussion.] Click on the bar series that you want to convert to a line. Then, select Chart | Chart Type... | and select the appropriate line chart. When a single chart series is selected the above chart type selection applies only to that series.
