Default line breaks

does anyone know how to do a line break in a chart label?

for example, if the text of the label is too long, I want
excel to add a "break" to the next line and move some of
the label text below it.

I used to use CTRL+ENTER but that do anything

On axes labels and chart titles, you can simply use the enter key. That
does not work in the Chart Options dialog box, but it does work when you
select the labels as viewed on the chart.
