Inserting a Map of a state

Does anyone know how to insert a map into a workbook. I
thought that the icon looked like a globe or world but
that was in excell 2000 and I couldn't find it in the
version that came with office xp. I even checked the
addins and I couldn't find it. Also does it come with the
cities and states included in the map or do you have to
enter every one yourself? Thanks
