Using Excel 2002, and the recently used list is challenging me. The
files I work on are stored in any one of several network drives, using several directories. The dropdown containing the recently used list displays the complete file path, and by the size limitation of the dropdown box, only displays part of the files location, making the identity of the file at the end of the file path invisible unless I click on it to open the file and see what it is. Can the list be configured to display just the file name, and not its complete path? TIA for any solutions. Pierre |

Only if you save the files to your default directory as set up in Excel Options
General Default File Location "Pierre" <cowguy@aol.com> wrote in message news:c00fad31.0405110427.729b107@posting.google.com... : Using Excel 2002, and the recently used list is challenging me.
