I have a spreadsheet that I need to print to a network
printer that is not my default. I go to File->Print and select the network printer. I hit Close and then save the file, but when I bring the file back up and hit File->Print again, the default printer still shows up in the Printer box. |

Wait...our users have several different printers that they
go to for certain documents. Access saves the printer settings with each report, why does Excel 2000 not allow this? >-----Original Message----- >Hi Brent, >something like: >Control Panel, Printers, select your printer, > Printer (menu), Set as default printer > --- >HTH, >David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] >My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm >Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm > >"Brent White" <bwhite@badgersportswear.com> wrote in message news:947301c43371$8bc12af0$a101280a@phx.gbl... >> I have a spreadsheet that I need to print to a network >> printer that is not my default. >> >> I go to File->Print and select the network printer. Acces has this feature, Excel does not.
Create a little macro button to print to specific printer.
