Excel on a bad computer

Ihad excel on my old computer.Can I somehow transfer that
to my new computer?or do I have to buy another program

As long as it was not an OEM verion of Excel, there is no reason why you cant
install it on the new computer. Do not "transfer" it. There are many internal
files that would not transfer (Registry entries etc). Take the old disks and
reinstall. If you do not have the old disks and lic key, best idea is to go
ahead and buy a new copy. Look on Ebay for copies of Office. Just make sure
there is the actual media and lic key with it
