we had to reinstall widows and since then exel has vanished, and we dont know how to get it back

"Reinstall Windows" means what? Did you re-format hard drive then install? Install without formatting hard drive? Windows does not come with any Office programs such as Excell. If you have a disk for Office or Excel, re-istall from that. If Excel was installed on your computer by your original seller, you will have to buy it. Excel may still be on your computer if you did not format the hard drive. Go to Start>Run and type in "excel.exe"(no quotes) and OK Do a file search for Excel.exe also. Look under Program files folder for Mictosoft Office.
