I am creating a worksheet that uses references from other
worksheets. Now that I am done I want to elliminate the
reference and still maintain the resulting number. Can
this be done with difficulty?

Does different worksheets mean different worksheets in different workbooks?

If yes, then in xl2002, you can Edit|links|Break links.

In all versions, you can just copy|paste special|values.
