Default EXCEL ERROR MESSAGE

Since Installing Office 2000 on a WIndows (* PC, whenever
I start EXCEL I receive a message: EXcel cannot open
Access MDB files directly. To import Access data into
Excel, use the Get External Data command: In Excel ....
I have installed the MS Query add-in but still get the
same message.
Clicking "OK" open Excel and everything seems to work OK.
Has anyone got any idea what causes this?

Default Re: EXCEL ERROR MESSAGE

You probably have an Access database stored in Excel's Startup folder.

You may have an Access file in your XLStart directory. XL opens (or attempts
to open) all files in that directory.
