excel and hyper-terminal data collection

Default EXTERNAL DATA COLLECTION FROM A COM. PORT


I desperately need to send data from a serial port
directly to excel, or to obtain it in excel directly from
hyper-terminal, whatever works. I have tried many
different ways, to no avail. Anyone have any answers?
