Default 802.1x authentication

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the 802.1x authentication
properties of an ethernet interface view a group policy or some other means
of automation? I need to change to EAP type to peap and also use a
certificate. I found a way in group policy to do this for a wireless
interface, but did not find the ability to do this on an ethernet interface.
Any help would be great.

Hi, official line from MS is that this will not be supported in Grou
Policy until Longhorn. We are a big intl company and have a call logge
with them regarding this issue, but as of yet the outcome is anyone'
guess. I'm happy to let you know how it turns out ..
