You are creating a PostScript file which is designed to be sent
to a PostScript printer. If you have a PostScript capable printer then the settings on the printer itself are probably incorrect. If you don't have a PostScript printer then your selection of a printer when you print is incorrect. Use File, Print or Ctrl+P: instead of the Print icon button so you can make a proper printer choice. Possibly if you had been creating PDF files, they might be created from a PostScript file, but I never had my Excel settings changed when I had such a button. --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "Duncan" <dphallih@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:042d01c34a6e$eb2c41b0$a601280a@phx.gbl... > Having the problem where excel is printing out stuff like: > > %!PS-adobe-3.0 > %Title:SURemit2.xls > ect. > ect. > > I dont understand why it is doing this, i know that the > text that it is printing out is what makes up the > document but it seems like somewhere the .xls isnt > getting interpreted correctly. > > Any suggestions anyone? |
