Excell 97 on windows xp with hp laserjet 3150

I do a upgrade of windows 98 to windows xp. All files on
excell 97 was printing very good. But on windows xp each
time a print with hp laserjet 3150 excel doing a error. I
install other printer everyting was ok but with laserjet
3150 the excel doing error. If a doing a new excel files
everyting was ok but with old files excell doing a error.
My customer call other technicien a he said office 97 was
not compatible with windows XP, but a very no sure what is
said. Some one can help me with my probleme
