Default no runas on any control panel object

We have a number of XP PCs that do not give us the option
to use runas on the items in the control panel.
The impact of this is that as we have a locked down
desktop the users are not able to add or configure
printers and we have had some instances where we have
added printers and they do not show in the users setup.
We need to be able to use runas when the user is logged on.
I have checked KB 83058 and the registry option is not
present.

Does anyone know where the runas option is disabled in
explorer?

Regards, Major.
Major is my christian name ;-)

Default Re: no runas on any control panel object

Have you found that other PC do allow runas on those items?

I have found that if you can find the actual executable, you
can do runas on it (e.g. C:\WINDOWS\System32\compmgmt.exe for
Computer Management, C:\WINDOWS\System32\lusrmgr.msc for User
Manager). But I don't know where the Add Printer Wizard executable
lives.
